FFL Transfers

What Is an FFL Transfer?

Federal law requires firearms to be transferred through a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). When a firearm is purchased from another dealer, it must be shipped to a licensed dealer such as KOmbat Solutions.

Regulatory approval is required before possession may occur.

Inbound Transfers

Firearms Shipped to KOmbat Solutions

Clients may designate KOmbat Solutions as their receiving FFL for purchases made through other dealers.

Shipment Requirements (Compliance Policy)

KOmbat Solutions only accepts inbound firearm transfers from licensed FFL dealers. Firearms shipped from private individuals are not accepted.

Non-compliant shipments may be refused or handled in accordance with compliance procedures.

• Confirm sender is a licensed FFL
• Non-FFL shipments may cause delays
• Additional handling may apply
• Transfer fees remain applicable

Required Information With Shipment

To avoid delays:

• Shipment must originate from a licensed FFL
• Copy of sending dealer's FFL included
• Recipient's full contact information
• Proper serial documentation

Shipments lacking identification may experience processing delays.

When Tracking Shows "Delivered"

Delivery does not indicate readiness for pickup.

All firearms complete:

• Package inspection
• Serial verification
• ATF acquisition logging
• Dealer record entry
• Compliance review

Processing requires 1–3 business days. Clients will be notified when ready.

Completing the Transfer

At pickup, recipients must:

• Present valid government-issued ID
• Complete ATF Form 4473
• Pass federal background check

Firearms are released only upon approval.

NFA Transfers

NFA items require additional documentation, biometric coordination, and federal approval. Processing occurs prior to approval.

Outbound Transfers

Shipping to Another FFL

• Firearms must be unloaded and secured
• Receiving FFL information required
• Valid ID required
• 1–3 day processing window

Ammunition cannot ship with firearms.
